If you love to watch horror films like me (Alex) and Dan then you would have spotted a few, well a lot of generic things in them. For example in every movie that has to do with exorcism the girl who supposedly is possessed by Satan, lucifer, the devil, whatever rocks your boat is always wearing a white night gown. Think about it the exorcist, the exorcism of Emily Rose and the last exorcism all have a girl possessed by the devil wearing a night gown. The only film that we could think of that has to do with exorcism but the possessed girl is Exorcismus, we haven't fully watched it but sources tell us that there is no appearance of the generic white gown that we are all used to seeing in exorcist movies.
In pretty much all the horror films that we've watched the beginning always seems to be happy fucking days but then suddenly everything goes to shit, think about it. All the classics: Halloween, Nightmare on Elm street, Friday 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Final destination, Hatchet (a truly brutal movie), Rec, the Exorcist, Cabin fever etc. (you get the point)
